Meet the Board

Chris Westgate is the Board Treasurer. He and his wife Kate moved to West Lafayette from Denver, Colorado in 2019. He grew up near Cleveland, Ohio and served in the Air Force for 9 years (ACC, Space Command). He graduated from University of Colorado-Boulder in 2018. This is his first experience with an HOA Board position and he enjoys serving this great neighborhood. He and Kate are raising their three sons in the house near the main Lake/Common Area.  He is currently a stay-at-home Dad for his family. You can find him exercising, serving at the Wabash Township Volunteer Fire Dept, with his nose in a book, or fishing with his boys. 

 

Jim and his wife Marion have been residents of the Village of Arbor Chase since 2014.  Jim is a retiree of Purdue University after 37 years of administrative work, primarily in Intercollegiate Athletics where he served as Sports Information Director, Athletics Public Relations Director, Director of Special Projects for Athletics, University Relations and Marketing & Media. Along with his duties for the HOA, Jim is the Executive Director of the National Football Foundation’s Joe Tiller Chapter of Northwest Indiana and is a member of Lafayette Kiwanis Club and “Men Who Give,” an extension of the  Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette.

 

Larry and wife Lynette have lived on the pond in the village section since 2010.  He worked for Deluxe Financial Services as the area account manager for 36 years and is now retired.  Having designed and built a few homes, he is well suited to handle the Arbor Chase architectural change requests as well as overseeing our three ponds.  In addition to serving on the Arbor Chase board he also prunes trees with the West Lafayette Tree Friends.

 

Dan and Jane Heman moved to Arbor Chase 2008. They have resided in West Lafayette more than 40 years and have actively supported local schools, charities, government, community, and social groups – and Purdue University.  For most of his professional career, Dan has provided financial and tax guidance to individuals and small businesses.

Jody and Dick made Arbor Chase their primary home in July 2021.  Jody may be new to the Arbor Chase HOA but most of the past 40 years she has lived in HOA communities around the US.  She has served on HOA boards and was President of 2 HOA’s, one in Augusta, GA and one in Charlotte, NC.  And in her career in Property and Casualty Insurance, 12 years company management and sales and her last 20 years as a Commercial Independent Agent, she insured numerous HOA’s and Property Management Companies.  She has served on insurance company advisory boards and other boards such as Whitefish Community Center, Whitefish Lake Golf Course and President and member of the Charlotte West Rotary Club in Charlotte, NC.  In their spare time you can find Jody playing bridge in the winter months and golfing in the summer and Dick will be out fishing, golfing or hiking.  Both like traveling and spending fun times with family.
